Tasks
Solothurner Spitäler AG stands for a hospital at several different locations with different focal points. Solothurner Spitäler AG’s primary mandate is to provide extended basic services for the population in and around the canton of Solothurn. We attach great importance to high treatment quality and proximity to the population (Link www.so-H.ch)

Same quality for all
In 2010, Solothurner Spitäler AG (soH) and the Kantonsspital Aarau (KSA) entered into a project partnership as part of the UNIDO action programme. Their joint goal is to make health services at the various locations in the cantons of Solothurn and Aarau more migration-friendly. The aim is to provide all citizens with equal access to health services, free of value and discrimination. The high quality of services should also be guaranteed for the migrant population.

Relief of employees through additional resources
The various measures in the area of integration are intended to relieve employees who require additional resources in view of the specific challenges in the treatment, care and therapy of migrants. This includes, for example, the opportunity to call in professional interpreters or to have adapted and translated information material available.

Integration and equal opportunities for all employees
In addition, the project partners UNIDO actively promote the integration of employees with a migrant background at the hospital workplace.
